Delivery Terms
|
- Books-n-all normally ships all orders by the Indian Postal Service. However if a customer
wants the book earlier, he is requested to mail us his requirements BEFORE
placing the order, so that we can get back to him with the procedure to place this special order.
Payment Realization Time + Item Availability + Shipping Time = Total Delivery Time
Once any order and its payment are fully processed, we pack items for shipping. This is done with special care,
so that they reach the customer in perfect condition. However, after dispatch the condition of the book is not in our
control as it is handled by the Indian postal department. Our shipping channels deliver these items at the address
submitted by customers while filling up the online registration form.
The Shipping Address is where a customer wishes to receive his order. It could be his home or office. However,
please note that Books-n-all does not deliver books to student quarters or campus / dorms. This is because it is
very difficult to match the time of the students’ presence in the room with the delivery time by our shipping channel.
So, if students want to order books, we recommend they give the delivery address of someone they know who can
take the delivery on their behalf.
We will send an e-mail as soon as an order is shipped out. The customer can also check the online status of his
book on our website by clicking “Your Account”.
You may be subject to import duties and VAT on certain items, which are levied once a shipment reaches your
country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and
cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. Additionally, when ordering
from Books-n-all.com, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the
country in which you are receiving the goods.
Prices mentioned on the website are as per the prices in our database and might be subject to change. Though, we
try our level best to keep them updated, there are some cases where they change without our notice. In such cases, if there
is a decrease in price, if the buyer has paid by card, we reverse back the extra amount to the card and inform the customer about the same. If the
buyer has chosen an offline mode of payment, we again inform the buyer before dispatch and charge the decreased amount. If
there is an increase in price, if the buyer has paid by card, we inform the buyer regretting the incident and request the buyer to order again
after the existing amount is reversed. If the buyer has chosen an offline mode of payment, we inform the buyer about the price increase and request if we can
send the book as per the new price. We agree that this is not a usual business practice, but with so many new titles and editions being released everyday, we
have no choice but to use this practice.
Please note that the presence of a title online does not confirm its availability in ready stock. Though we try to
stock a huge variety of titles, there may be some times that a particular title is not available. This happens as we are not direct importers and we depend on
other distributors for our supply. At the same time, we promise to try our level best to procure an unavailable title before refusing a
customer.
